Nice little piece of kit just what I needed.

This is the perfect tool - multiple functions, strong and light. Another example of the company’s wonderful design approach. Plus, the best post-purchase customer service.

I love the quality the ingenuity and bought 2 so I could gift one and keep one.

This is the ultimate utensil. Look no further. Light, versatile, dependable, comfortable, and looking so cool! If it were a person I would probably marry it ;) Seriously, I'm a big fan.
ADRIAN G.
Durable well designed compact great utensil
Sergiy H.
Great titanium multi-tool utensil.
The quality of the product is great and everything is exactly as stated on the website.
The delivery was quick, but in the range of expected.
One downside to keep in mind while buying is the knife part - it is almost unusable if you are right handed.
The blade doesn’t seat in the middle but rather on one of the sides (shown in the image), so if you are trying to cut something while keeping it straight in your right hand, you will inevitably see that this slope makes it impossible to cut anything. Such a shape pushes the blade farther away from the object, which is exactly the opposite of what you would want to support your cutting.
But, nevertheless, cutting with left hand is fine (or with right hand but after turning the knife (not as comfortable, but is still possible)).
Cutting hard objects (and not making small slices) is still impossible because half of the object is repulsed from the blade which results in it (the blade) turning sideways instead of making straight cuts.
But then again, everything else about this utensil works incredible so that I even use it instead of my regular spoon and fork.

A great tool to keep handy in the back pack or briefcase. You never know when the birthday cake is showing up in the break room......
Andrew H.
Simply fantastic.... Originally bought for camping but pressed into use when we run out of silverware in the house (kids, lazy parents etc...). Not only functional, they are fun too... easy to throw in a backpack, and then subsequently stow away for next time.

One and done eating utensil
Great multi-tool for munching. Since it functions as so many tools, it's great for backpacking/camping where you want to save space.
Maria T.
maybe a little pricey, but good quality and very prompt delivery.

Nice build but awkward to use.
It really looks nice and sturdy, but not the greatest eating too. Too much $ for what you get.

The gauge of the metal
In my opinion the gauge of the metal should have been thicker, This may not affect me buuying their product in the future I just widsh it had been heavier gauge. I'll snap this one while in my pocket for sure.
Its a really cool item. I only take issue with this one decision

Very pleased with this product - lightweight, comfortable to use, and really practically multi-functional. I keep it in my handbag for my lunch at work apart from taking it camping! Also customer service is excellent. Strongly recommend Full Windsor and company.

Solid light tool.
Exactly what I was looking for.

Great addition to my packing list and kit
Love my "Muncher"! Great tool. Replaced my Vargo spork that I've been marrying for 20+ years. Will never go back.

Great Multi Tool with Best quality
It's a very, very greatful tool for all outside activities. We are a family and i bought three Tools. My daughter and my wife are so happy about it. We are Fans of walking, climbing, Camping and this Tool are a absolutely fit...

Light weight great for backpacking
Bought two for stocking stuffers. They were for daughter and son-in-law that camp several times during the year. They need to pack very light. They were really excited to get these.
Eduardo A.
Modular Sheath
there's any chance the team could make a modular sheath for the knife edge so when we use the spork we don't lose grip by fearing the edges, besides a modular sheath will greatly improve travel
BJ
Flint feature doesn't work
The main thing that differentiates this item from similar titanium sporks is the advertised flint spark feature to start fires, which really doesn't work. So if you want a fancy spork, this is fine. But rather pricey when the added "features" don't work.
T
Good but question price value relationship.
Like the weight and all. It pricey.
Andy R.
Everything about it ok just a little disappointed with its ability to make a decent spark.
Bob H.
Great product well thought out excellent design, function and durability

Everything you need in one!
I have two one for hiking pack and one for day bag. Which I use everyday. Such a handy utensil!
Donis R.
It's just OK.
The Muncher is a cool looking piece of kit that tends to impress folks whenever I bust it out. That said, like so many other multi-tools, it really doesn't work as well as it's billed.
I hadn't really planned on writing a review of the tool but the company sent me an email asking for one so here it is. It wasn't my intention to bash this product, I do like it and have used and tested it a good deal both at home and in camp.
My thoughts:
* Spork
The spork is an odd shape. The fork part of the spork is better than many I've tried but the spoon part is a little deep and doesn't quite work as well as the more traditional rounded spoon shape. (The big spork side of The Splitter, which I also own and do recomend, works much better.)
* Serrated butter knife
I think this is the best part of The Muncher. It works well as a spreader and has enough teeth and edge to it to function well.
* Can opener
It works and one gets better at using it but it's not really easy to use. It tends to slip off the rim of the can and the straight sides of the blade tend to punch jagged holes rather than slice into the can. If one needs a light-weight can opener one would be better served with an old P-38 military can opener.
* Bottle opener
What multi-tool doesn't have a bottle opener? Yeah, it works. But then again, with practice almost anything can be a bottle opener.
* Peeler
This is the least functional part of the tool. The geometry works best for 'rounder' fruits and vegetables but falls short for irregular shaped items like potatoes. I usually end up just using the knife part of the tool instead.
* Fire starter
The ferrocerium rod throws a good spark and is a nice small size for a back-up fire starter.
* Cord cutter
I can't say that I used this part very often. Maybe if I was using it for travel and didn't have a knife I would, but camping I carry a pocket knife and that's quicker and easier.
* Pry-bar
The tool works for opening up paint can type recessed lids and the titanium seems to hold up.
* Box cutter
The blade while not sharp (by design I'm sure) does work to open up packaging.
* Flathead screwdriver
Calling this a screwdriver is a little bit of a stretch. It is too large and at an angle to work safely with most screws other than, as in the video, large screws as found on photographic equipment which isn't intended to be torqued too tightly and has a wide slot.
In conclusion, I still like the look of The Muncher and because it is so light I will continue to toss it in with my outdoor gear but it does not excel at any function. I end up using it more of a back-up or emergency piece of kit rather than a primary tool. It does a lot of things, just not well enough to recommend for $50.

Great service and item as described
SM3000
Worth it!
Great tool. I am discovering new uses for it every day. I was hesitant due to the price, but this us a tool you buy once and use it for ever! It is extremely light weight but extremely sturdy!
Ive used it also as a tick remover (spork end) and "hitchhicker" (those little seeds on pant legs) remover. I use to scrap pants to quickly remove all the seeds without picking off 1 by 1.
The only con would be that it is a bit uncomfortable to grip but ive wrapped paracord around for confort.
I think this would make a great gift to any outdoor enthusiast in the family.
Will update if review changes.

Alaskan: hard pass
Stricker doesn't work, (used as instructed) returned it thinking possibly defective, still no luck.. can opener needs offset on biting surface - peeler too
Great finish / design theory, not quite worth $49.??

Bought for my husband. He really likes it.

A bit pricey
My son and I were heading out for a weekend camping trip and decided to get some new utensils. The Muncher worked as expected. My son loves his, and while we do have other utensils he always uses the Muncher. He's even used it a few times at home. I love the Muncher, but is a little pricey.
Gary D.
...has ended! Took a punt on this and although I've only used it twice now in anger, I'm blown away at how useful it is.
Comfortable to use when eating; lightweight but seems very strong. Think the flint stick needs broken in as I struggled to get a spark initially (YouTube helped me out here).
Highly recommend piece of camping/outdoors kit.
Luke S.
I am very happy with the Piece of kit the only thing is I haven't perfected creating a spark and have gone back to using my original flint. I really bought it for the spork elements anyway
Leo P.
Quality concept, quality construction - can wait to get into the hills and put it to use

Simple, lightweight, convenient
Great, sturdy spork with a few bonus tools. I was a fan of the shape of the notch by the knife as this made it easy to grab for opening cans. The bottle opener works alright, but can be a bit awkward. The flint rod included with the tool barely worked, so I wouldn't consider that any sort of feature of the tool. I'm happy with the weight and general usefulness of the tool.
Kevin G.
Great service and an even better product. Recommend unreservedly.

Excellent! Super useful camp and hiking tool!
Very happy with this product. Excellent build quality, packaging and was very happy about the added fire rod, I thought that was a nice touch. Looking forward to my next camping/hiking trip where this will come in very handy.

Durable and lightweight
Very lightweight, and takes the place of a a bunch of other bulky items I had in my bag. Attractive and useful bit of kit perfect for the camping/hiking I do (as light and small of a bag as possible), and will do double duty in my kitchen as well.
Aaron
Good quality, useful features
Very sturdy, high quality, lightweight tool. It has everything I need in a camping eating utensil. Having a good knife is nice, I don't have to get my pocketknife dirty.
Juan Navarrete
Ehh
Kinda flimsy and nit worth the 50
Tyson McCully
Could be longer.
Pros, very versatile, and sturdy.
Cons, could be a little longer for reaching the bottom of the soup bowl.
Other, sticks in the rubber case pretty tight, will not fall out but difficult to extract.

Forever eating utensil
Great quality and all in one use for a bunch of things. Good metal/case. Don't know how to use a flint but doesn't hurt to have one lol.
Yulia Vasyutinskaya
Good, but too exp
This is a great product: material, design - made with knowledge. But price is very steep. I understand that designers don't work for free. And titanium is not cheap. Still not that expensive
TDEngines
Nice idea, many features, but falls short in a few places.
First of all, I feel the price is too high. I really liked the features and wanted to try one, so I kept my eye out for sales and coupons and eventually got one for less than $30.00 (from another vendor, not amazon). I keep this in my EDC bag and use it regularly, not just for camping, etc.
PROS
- I am surprised by all the reviews saying it's flimsy. I do not agree. I tried opening cans with it a few times, to see how difficult it may be, get the hang of it, etc. That puts a lot of stress on the tool and it didn't bend at all. I wonder if there was a bad production batch, etc.?
- I like all the tools being in one light and compact package. I admit they aren't as good as some standalone tools (like the can opener). But, if you ALWAYS keep this with your personal gear, you will have a backup in case you forgot/broke/lost your favorite camping can opener, or peeler, or food knife. It's very small and light. There is no reason you cannot always have it in your gear, survival kit, etc.
- I like the pouch/carabiner combo. Again, it makes it easy to keep with you as a backup to your other kitchen/cooking gear. Some have complained about the grommet being too small. It does catch on one side of the carabiner (one side is wider than the other). I don't find that a big deal. Some have complained about the tool being hard to remove/replace. I don't find that a big deal either. It seems to get a little easier after some use anyway.
CONS
- The can opener is hard to use. I usually rely on the can opener in my Swiss Army Knife when camping/traveling. I can work that one almost as quick as a full-size twisty-knob type. But it does work.
- The fire-steel is extremely hard to remove/replace in the pouch. I've tried many different ways, attemptiung to find the easiest method. In addition, it makes deep scratches on the polished blade that are obvious (the ends, the spork and the blade, are polished).
- The design of the spork does not seem optimal. Maybe I don't have the hang of it. When eating soup type foods, the liquid always seems to run between the tines and I end up doing a lot of slurping. Not that big of a deal, but I know people who are really annoyed by that.
Kate
Word of warning- I had the unfortunate experience of taking the Muncher through security at Heathrow Airport in my hand luggage (by mistake), and had the flint component confiscated. Apparently the knife blade is too short to be a problem, but the fire starter is forbidden (although safety matches are permitted- go figure!)

Loved the product but...
I really liked this and think it a quality product. Looking forward to using it on my net trip coming up soon. Only concern was the pouch was very tight. So tight I will not us it. Concerned I will cut my self or prick myself forcing it in the pouch. Not enough to drop a star but an issue for me. Product itself is very well made and should last for years. After using this for some time, I still like it but miss a serrated edge along the spork side to help cut stuff without flipping to the knife side. I will see if I can get a skilled knife grinder to do this for me.

Delivers on promises but at a steep price
Love everything about this except the price which is excessive in my opinion.

Does what it's supposed to do excellently.

You'll use this for more than camping
I bought this tool with camping/backpacking in mind. Utensils have always been a pain for me as they were mostly an afterthought when thinking about other camping gear. So I would end up bringing plastic (which would inevitably break and is just wasteful) or something out of my kitchen drawer (which I would inevitably lose or ruin). We all know the spork is the greatest utensil ever invented. Now you have one that won't break and is super light. That's just the start. Features like the pry bar, can and bottle opener, peeler and screw driver have all been used. The need for these things just comes up when you least expect them to and it's great to have something on hand that just works. Yeah, I have a pocket knife that does some of these things as well and I'm still going to bring that. But none of my knives has a spork and having two pry bars or screw drivers with slightly different shapes/sizes is still useful, especially when the Muncher is so light and thin.
I've found that I'm also using this more and more around the house as well. It sits in my utensil drawer so it's always handy for whatever comes up. At the end of the day you're not paying $50 for a spork you'll only use when camping. You're paying for a tough, durable, easy to use multi-purpose tool that you'll find yourself using over and over again.

Great gadget
Lightweight, thinner than expected but seems durable. I have not used it yet. Travel sleeve fits tight and is thick. Edges are sharp and seem to be substantial for there job.
Julianna K.
It actually peels potatoes...and for $50, it better.
Bought this for my husband's birthday for his backpacking adventures. It's durable, the name is hilarious, and it actually peels potatoes. He would never spend this much on something to eat with, but my 6 year old daughter thought the name "The Muncher" was hilarious and thought her father needed it. Overall it's cool, but $50 is steep.

Luxury tool of the camping world
I got one of these when it launched on Kickstarter and loved it! It's the best camping and backpacking tool I have. It's super light and durable. I get them as gifts now for my outdoor friends.

Excellent product,far better than any similar one out there. Highly recommended. This is the ultimate spork type thingy.

Wonderful!
A tool that is as beautiful as it is useful. So many uses, what appealed to me most (lol) was the built in peeler, how thoughtful. Very light. Will be with me on the many adventures to come. Thanks.

Fantastic Tool
Light and has everything that I wanted and or needed in a utility tool!
.
Really great spork!
This is a truly great spork! You don't often see such highly polished titanium products (in the literal and figurative senses). Two minor qualms: first, the can opener function only barely functions, and left me with the most ragged, dangerous can edges, compared to that which the P-38 can opener gives; second, the spoon shape is a little too squared-off in the "deep end" such that it takes extra effort to get at any soup or food left behind there -- just an unnatural shape.

Best camping multi-tool!

Great service matches great product
I live in New Zealand and was really impressed by the ordering and delivery process for my muncher. My son and I are keen to get in the outdoors to try it out!

A good spork is the god-damn most important thing you can own.. I've owned many. I thought nothing would replace my snowpeak titanium spork which I've used for 100's of years until I found this. Awesome

Enttuschend ! Preis / Leistung schlecht / vllig berteuert!
Preis / Leistung ungengend / vllig berteuert!
Deshalb nur Bedingt Empfehlenswert

Great! backpacking tool
I like the muncher.
I found information about the muncher in a youtube video about the ultimate survival tools
It's a great design combining a great number of functions into one tool.
Saving weight and room in your pack.
I found this to very handy in packing for extreme sports trips.
Having only one tool for several jobs also saves on cleaning after eating.
There are more Titanium sporks out there , but they stop at combining a fork and spoon.
And a very sorry impression of a knive.
The muncher fixes that.
The craftsmanship on the muncher is excellent, Windsor is suppling a nice shiny sharp titanium tool.
In a real survival situation when you have nothing to eat with your muncher, you might still trade it with the natives for some food.

The Muncher - Titanium Multi Utensil
Great functionality of the utensil. The pouch is more a design thing but not usable in practice as the utensil hardly fits in and the carabiner does not fit well. The biggest con is that with this utensil you very easily wound your hands as there are several sharp edges. I had a wound within 30 seconds after using it. Not to be used to kids!

The perfect tool
I just got this and used it in my first backpacking trip. It fed me full and was perfect for cutting rope and starting a fire as well. Would highly recommend this for any backpacking or camping trip!
